Sumiyah Shaikh, PA-C

Board-certified Physician Assistant Ms. Sumiyah Shaikh has many years of experience working in the field of mental health. She was born in Dallas, Texas, and comes from an Indian ancestry second generation. She was raised in Pittsburgh. Ms. Shaikh did numerous internships in various medical specialties at various medical institutions throughout Pennsylvania, primarily focusing on mental health and promoting a healthy lifestyle. At Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, Ms. Shaikh received her master's degree in physician assistant studies. She graduated from Carlow University with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then worked as a senior volunteer at the Barbar Institute and was involved in studies on cancer stem cells. Ms. Shaikh has successfully dealt with kids, teenagers, and adults and finds it enjoyable. She exercises evidence-based medicine and is dedicated to providing compassionate care for my patients in a safe and supportive environment. Ms. Shaikh is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  

Ms. Shaikh enjoys her free time. She loves to spend time with her family, travel, hike, and friends, and she recently had a beautiful baby girl.
